INTRODUCTION

By this notice, the company under the name “SUNLIGHT GROUP ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SOCIETE ANONYME” and distinctive title “SUNLIGHT GROUP ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS” (hereinafter the “Company”), having its registered office at Kifissia, Attica (22, Thivaidos Str.,) ZIP Code: 14564, wishes to inform you regarding the processing of personal data while using the service “Glocal Platform” (hereinafter the “Service”). The Data Controller is defined as the user who enters and uses the Service (hereinafter the “User”), while being responsible for all obligations to inform and/or obtain the consent of the data subjects in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation.


PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

For the provision of the Service by the Company, which acts as Data Processor, the following personal data are likely to fall under processing:

  • E-mail

  • Location

  • Language

  • Information on the use of batteries


PROCESSING PURPOSES

In the context of the Service provision, the absolutely necessary personal data are collected on behalf of the User for the purpose of creating an account, connecting to and using the Service, as well as for the purpose of informing the User via e-mail about the new functionalities, updates or any upgrades of the Service.


In addition to the above, we inform you that certain information regarding the batteries’ condition may be used for our Company’s business analytics purposes.


WITH WHOM WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA

Personal data are collected and processed by our responsible and authorized personnel, as well as our associate, namely the company under the name "EPOPTIA G.P.", which undertakes the technical support of the Service. This third company acts as Sub-processor and follows our instructions regarding the processing of personal data.


HOW LONG WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA

The period for retaining the personal data is determined by the User according to the provisions of the applicable legislation in force.


WHAT ARE THE SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

In accordance with the applicable legislation on personal data protection, data subjects (e.g. employees of the User) may exercise the following rights before the Controller (User):

  • right of access,

  • right to rectification of any unprecise personal data or their completion, as well as, provided that the legislation requirements are met:

  • right to erasure,

  • right to portability,

  • right to restriction of processing,

  • right to object,

  • right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.


The Company must assist the Data Controller, to the extent possible, in fulfilling his/her obligations with respect to the requests of data subjects.
